Retiree Membership

MEMSPA State Retiree membership
Open to any person who retires from education and has been an active member of MEMSPA at any time within the five (5) years preceding retirement. The privileges of retiree members include publications and free admission to the annual state conference and voting rights in state elections. 
Annual Dues - $35

If you are going to continue to serve in a building as a contract employee you should still continue as an contract retiree member.  Contract Retiree application>>  

NAESP Retiree membership
Available to active members of NAESP who have retired, or those who currently hold NAESP Emeritus membership. NAESP Retiree members receive only PRINCIPAL magazine; are eligible to participate in the optional member benefit programs for which they qualify (insurance, Master Card, etc.); receive membership in AARP; and, shall be entitled to register at the Annual Convention and all workshops/conference at the member rate. Members in the Retiree membership category are not eligible to vote or hold office in the Association.
Annual Dues: $55

NAESP Emeritus membership
Available to Active members of the Association who have retired. Emeritus members are entitled to all rights and benefits of NAESP including NAESP's Liability Insurance for events that occured during your years as an active elementary or middle school administrator while a member of MEMSPA/NAESP.  NAESP Emeritus membership automatically includes membership in AARP.
