David Simpson

I have been Principal of Northern Hills Middle School in Forest Hills for more than a decade and have served as a school leader for nearly 20 years. As Past President of MEMSPA, I am passionate about supporting principals by building networks of connection, encouraging innovation, and providing mentorship that helps leaders grow in both confidence and capacity. My experience with Stanford University’s d.school reinforced my belief that creative problem solving and collaboration can strengthen schools and those who lead them. At the center of my work is a simple conviction: when leaders are supported, schools flourish and students benefit.
