Professional Bio
I am thrilled to serve as the President of Region 2! This is my 21st year in education. I began my profession career with Ann Arbor Public Schools (AAPS) in 2005, as a fifth-grade teacher at Thurston Elementary School.
I’ve been serving as an Elementary Principal for the district since 2010. It is indeed a privilege to work, lead and learn alongside each of the leaders across the great state of Michigan and beyond.
When I first started as an administrator, my middle school assistant principal and MEMSPA Practicing Principal of the Year, Mr. Mellberg gifted me the title of "Chief Learner". I, like him lead the way and love learning from every perspective that includes inclusivity of ALL.
Let's kick every door down and make it bridge. A bridge to connect and strengthen all that would like to be a part of some "Good Trouble".
