Verle Gilbert

As the current principal of Hahn Intermediate, Verle has dedicated 24 years of service to the district, previously serving as an Assistant Principal and Teacher of the Emotionally Impaired. Verle has collaborated with staff to enhance student learning and actively participated as a Core Team Member of the Genesee Elementary Principals Meeting. Verle was also a critical feedback member of the MDE's "Learning at a Distance" and "Supporting Summer Learning Pandemic or Not" initiatives during the pandemic. Within MEMSPA, Verle holds the position of President and has previously served as the Media and Technology Board Chair. Recognized as the 2018 Region 10 Honoree, Verle holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from SVSU, an M.A. in Educational Leadership from EMU, and a B.S. in Education from CMU.
